According to reports, Britney has posted an indirect message for the jailed socialite on her website and has hinted at her dislike for the heiress.
Spears and Hilton, who is at present serving a jail term for a driving violation, were frequently seen out partying right after the pop star's break up with ex husband Kevin Federline.
The ‘Toxic’ singer did not single out Paris, but she did refer to the harmful friendships she acquired after her split.
"Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me,” the Daily Mail quoted Spears, as stating on her website.
"You never know another persons intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with,” she added.
Spears, who broke her friendship with Paris a few months ago, added that she committed the mistake of allowing many people to enter into her life.
"I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. I have had to cut so many people out of my life,” she said. (ANI)
