The upcoming issue of OK! magazine, on newsstands Thursday, reports that the two women met up for two hours on Sunday, June 17 at Aniston’s rented Malibu beach pad for a little catch-up session.
"I'm sure it was a tear-filled reunion," a friend of Aniston tells the magazine. "It was hard enough letting Brad go ... Jen is determined that she isn't also going to lose his family."
Pitt’s parents, William and Jane, were very fond of Aniston, and reportedly disapproved after their son left her for current girlfriend Angelina Jolie.
Jolie recently admitted that at first she was a bit worried about meeting Pitt’s parents because she didn’t know how they would react to her, or her adopted kids Maddox and Zahara.
But upon their meeting, Pitt’s parents treated her very nicely, the actress revealed.
"When I first met them I came in with two adopted children from other countries and I didn't know how they were going to be. But they are equally loving with seems to have run its course for the moment," she said. (ANI)
