Washington, July 11 (ANI): Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has revealed that she reconsidered the offer to star in a film based on the hit series because she was really ‘flattered’ by the devotion of the series’ fans.
The actress, who initially opted out of the film, said that it is nice to know that people miss the show and the characters, and that she is happy with the way the TV hit ended.
She added that to reopen the show in anyway would require a great script, and that several questions have to be asked before embarking on the project.
"I really am so flattered because I feel that people actually do miss the show and the characters. I thought that the series really ended so well and to reopen it would have to be a great script,” Cattrall told London radio station Heart.
"As with any project that you do it really starts and ends with the script, you've got to ask the questions, 'Who are the characters?' 'Where will they go?' 'What will their journey be?' 'Will people be interested," she added.
The show’s actors including Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Davis will reprise their roles for the film adaptation, which is set to begin shooting in November this year. (ANI)
