London, July 11 (ANI): British Royal Prince Harry recently admitted to a teenager that he is often bullied for his ‘ginger’ hair.
14-year old Maxine Broadfoot had been invited to meet Harry and brother William at the Concert for Diana where she was given the Diana Award for counseling.
She later revealed that Harry had asked her if she could also counsel him because he gets bullied for having red-hair.
“Prince Harry came up to our table and he asked me what I had got the award for. I said it was for counselling fellow pupils and helping children who had been bullied,” The Sun quoted her, as saying.
“He asked if he could come and get some counseling because he gets bullied for being ginger. I didn’t know what to say and I just laughed,” she added.
Maxine’s father Rob also confirmed that the Prince had asked if he could come to the young girl for counseling.
“When she said she did counseling, Harry said maybe he should come to her because he gets bullied about his red hair. When they all laughed he said, ‘No, I do, seriously,’” he said.
“They were only having a joke about it, but his Army buddies must give him a ribbing,” he added. (ANI)
