July 12, 2007 (Sawf News): Jessica Simpson made a not-so-shocking revelation about herself when she told in an interview with Bazaar that she dresses for the men in her life.
Simpson will grace the covers of August issue of Bazaar that will also feature an interview with her done by Designer Michael Kors.
Kors, a friend of Simpson, told Access Hollywood that he interviewed her because of her longstanding effect on him.
“Jessica is a great friend and she's kind of a muse,” Kors explained. “She's the all-American girl but she's got a little edge to her.”
Simpson told Kors that she dresses for the men in her life. (No doubt)
The iconic blonde shocked the media earlier this year when she turned brunet while dating the tall, dark haired singer John Mayer. Mayer reportedly prefers brunets.
Simpson, 5’4” tall, also started wearing high heels when with Mayer. She told Kors, “I just wear really high heels.”
“I think she would play basketball in high heels if it was up to her,” Kors told about his muse.
Simpson does think differently about Hollywood’s fascination with being thin.
“I don’t get the whole rail thing,” said Simpson who believes men prefer shapely girls.
“I think she's proof positive that fashion can be pretty fabulous on a curvy girl who's petite,” Kors added.
Simpson says she wouldn’t mind a little nip/tuck when needed to keep her bombshell status. Though she refuted recent reports of having a breast-lift.
“I said to her ‘You know what, if it all starts to droop what are you gonna do?’ and she looked at me and said ‘Well you know what if it droops, maybe it's time for a tune up,’” Kors recounted.
She also has a different side career that she wants to pursue.
“I asked her what else would you have done [in life career wise] and she said ‘I'd be a therapist.’ To me that would be like the job from hell, like who would want to be a therapist? When I thought about it I was like she is a good listener,” recalled Kors.
