© AFP/Getty Images/File Bryan Bedder July 27, 2007 (Sawf News): Socialite Nicole Richie is headed for the slammer this September and is to serve four days for her second DUI bust for driving on the wrong side of the road December last year.
The four month pregnant daughter of singer Lionel Richie plead guilty to the second bust charges in four years and was sentenced on Friday in Glendale, California courthouse.
Nicole, represented by Shawn Chapman Holley, was fined $ 2,048 and ordered to attend 21 days of alcohol education course, reports TMZ.
Richie will also remain on three years probation and was warned by the court commissioner that if she actually killed someone while driving drunken, Nicole would be charged for murder instead of manslaughter.
Richie was given the option of serving her time in a paid city jail, a less harsher facility than the county.
Nicole accompanied by her boyfriend Joel Madden was given no surrender date and asked to complete her jail time before Sept. 28.
