27 September 2007 (Sawf News) - UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie participated in a discussion Wednesday on the Promise of Education in Conflict and Post Conflict Situations as part of the third annual Clinton Global Initiative conference.
Other participants included the Afghan Minister of Education, the President of Columbia, and the founder of the Valentino Achak Deng Foundation.

The discussion was moderated by New York Times Columnist Nicholas Kristof.
Angelina was brought to tears as she recalled meeting an 8-year-old boy on her last trip to Syria who had been set on fire & dumped in the trash.
