"She's preparing for her private nuptials," a source told Pagesix.
Janet Jackson, 41, has been dating record producer Jermaine Dupri, 35, since 2002.
The singer recently told The Insider:
"So many people were putting pressure on [Jermaine], then they started pressuring me. Everybody would ask us about it - even friends."
Jackson, who has been married twice earlier - to James DeBarge from 1984 to 1985 and to Rene Elizondo from 1986 to 1999, says she will take things as they come.
Earlier this month Janet told Parade magazine, "After two divorces, I thought I was jinxed. Maybe marriage isn't for me? Maybe it's my fault it never works."
She, however, admits that both she and Jermaine would love to have children.
"We both would love to have kids. Someday I know it's going to happen. Exactly when, I don't know."
