Photo Credit: PR PhotosApril 24, 2008 (Sawf News) - When Ashlee Simpson once again played coy about her pregnancy during the recording of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Thursday, April 24, and stood up to assert that she did not look pregnant, Ellen unabashedly decided to feel for her baby bump.
This is how it happened. Ellen opened up by saying, "I can't let you sit here and not ask you the question."
"Are you or are you not pregnant?" she then asked
"Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe….," Ashlee evaded.
"Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something … because I don't think I do," she challenged and stood up.
Ellen decided on a tactile confirmation before conceding that Ashlee didn't look pregnant.
She then pointed to a photo of Jennifer Lopez and asked, "You're not going to keep this answer up as long as this woman did...."
Laughing, Simpson replied, "No, I'm not. I swear. I promise you that. I give you my pinky on that."
That did not stop Ellen from baiting Ashlee one last time.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" she asked.
