We haven't seen Aniston for some time, probably because she is focusing on her work, after having focused on boyfriend John Mayer for a considerable amount of time, savoring his music as he toured across first Europe and now North America.
Aniston hasn't taken on any new project since completing Marley & Me with co-star Owen Wilson.
She is rumored to have signed up for the comic caper Gambit, which additionally features Ben Kingsley, Colin Firth and Lisa Bonet. A summary of the film reads:
"Harry Dean's plan to steal a painting from one of the world's richest men is missing one final component -- the participation of a beautiful woman to act as his gambit. In Nicole, he meets someone who appears to be the perfect candidate, but Harry himself becomes enraptured with her, causing his plan to take a series of wrong turns."
Filming of Gambit is scheduled to start in March 2009.
Aniston's work as a producer is also likely keeping her busy, with as many as seven film in early stages of production.
