Photo Credit: Splash News / PR PhotoJuly 17, 2008 (Sawf News) - Diminutive Austin Powers and The Love Guru star, Verne Troyer says his live in ex-girlfriend and sex tape co-star, Ranae Shrider, is refusing to move out of his house and, what is worst, taunts him and calls him names!
"She's still in the house," says Troyer,
He told E! Online that he is taking legal action to evict her, but that, "makes it even harder, to, you know, not strangle her."
When the tape first leaked out and a short clip from it ended up on TMZ website, Shrider, a 22-year-old aspiring model, denied any knowledge of how that happened. Troyer, 39, filed a $20 million lawsuit against TMZ, celeb-porn broker Kevin Blatt and online adult-film rental service SugarDVD, claiming violation of privacy and right to publicity, copyright and trademark infringement and misappropriation of name and likeness.
A judge barred the distribution of the tape forcing TMZ to remove the clip posted on their website.
Later, in a complete turn about, Shrider filed a signed declaration claiming the tape was created using her video camera and given to TMZ by her, prompting the judge to allow TMZ to repost a clip on their website. There continues to be an injunction against sale of the tape, something Shrider now wants to do, to the highest bidder, having set the minimum bid at $25,000.
Toyer, who dated Shrider for six months before breaking up with her in June, suspects his former girlfriend is either motivated by spite or ransom money.
"I broke up with her in the middle of June; it was something probably to do with that. It was basically when she decided to give the tape away. I highly doubt that she thought that would get me back with her. Ransom or something," Troyer said.
