Recent pictures of the 38-year-old in a bikini on vacation on the island of Corsica had earlier sparked rumors of a pregnancy.
Thurman's rep, Stephen Huvane, announced their engagement on Friday, June 27, 2008, saying, "I can confirm she is engaged."
The couple held a private engagement party on July 9, which, it is now being rumored, was a wedding celebration, and their current trip to Europe a honeymoon.
Thurman's rep, however, says he has spoken to the Kill Bill actress and she claims she is still not married.
