September 17, 2008 (Sawf News) - Kate Middleton organized a Day-Glo Charity Roller Disco event at the Renaissance Rooms in Vauxhall in London on Wednesday night, September 17, in aid of a charity set up in memory of her friend.
The Katester showed off her well toned body in a sequined green halter top, cinched at the waist, with a green satin ribbon tied in a front bow; yellow hot pants, fluorescent pink knee length sox and roller skates of the 1980s.
Her straight dark hair was left open for a casual look and she accessorized with black drop earrings, a band each in middle fingers of both hands and two colorful bracelets in her right arm.
Prince William's girlfriend hoped to collect $200,000 from the event attended by hundreds of supporters, to setup 'Tom's Ward' at the Children's Hospital in Oxford, in memory of her friend Thomas Waley-Cohen who died from bone cancer in 2004 at the age of 20.
Part of the donations would also go to Place2Be, which provides counseling to children and their families in 130 schools across the UK to help them cope with life's travails including domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Kate received help in organizing the event from Tom's brother Sam and Sir Richard Branson's daughter Holly.
