Jolie is expected walk the red carpet Saturday night, October 4 at the New York Film Festival for the premiere of her movie The Changeling.
Asked how Jolie and Pitt are doing at the 2008 VH1 Hip Hop Honors on Thursday, October 2 in New York City, Wyclef took recourse to the lyrics of the theme song of the TV series Happy Days.
"Monday, Tuesday, Happy Days ... Wednesday, Thursday, Happy Days.
"They're doing great, and they're great people. Great friends of mine. Just great human beings, most of all."
Jolie and Pitt arrived back in the US with their kids for the first time since the birth of twins Vivienne and Knox, landing in New York City on Thursday, October 2.
They flew in from Berlin where the family is camping for three months to facilitate Pitt's participation in the Quentin Tarantino thriller Inglorious Bastards, which is being filmed on location in Goerlitz, near the Polish border.
