"I have cellulite, I have a rumply tummy and my boobs have dropped. I did think that post-kids, my sex scenes days were over," she told Elle magazine's UK edition February issue, which features her on its cover.
Winslet, 33, who has a daughter aged 8 and a son aged 5, features in sex scenes in both her current movie - Revolutionary Road, directed by her second husband Sam Mendes, 43, and The Reader.
While Winslet may not think she is sexy, nude scenes from the film bear ample testimony to her momshell figure, which the British born star attributes to just 20 minutes of Pilates.
"I don't go to the gym because I don't have time, but I do Pilates workout DVDs for 20 minutes or more every day at home," she said.
"I still don't believe this craziness for being skinny, but I eat sensibly and I don't stuff down chocolate biscuits," she adds.
Winslet also spoke to the magazine about her special relationship with her Revolutionary Road co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio. The two worked together earlier in the 1997 all time block buster film Titanic.
"He's part of the family and I love that he's matured into this kind, dedicated man. When we work together we instinctively know what the other one is thinking," she said.
Winslet has won Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations for both her current films - as best actress for Revolutionary Road and best supporting actress for The Reader.
