At San Paulo Fashion Week, in June 2008, Kurkova, 24, was criticized by the Brazilian press for having "too much back fat, love handles and cellulite"
A source told Fox News, that the Victoria's Secret Angel was almost a no show at Victoria's Secret's fashion show in November, as she labored to get into shape on a diet of vegetables, salad and protein. Her efforts included a strict exercise regimen and she cut carbs completely shortly before the show.
"She was exhausted and didn't get down to where she wanted to be," the source said.
The decision to allow Kurkova to walk the ramp was taken at the last minute but she ended up being labeled "too fat" for the show

The list included three other Victoria's Secret models: Giselle Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum.
According to Forbes, she's the eighth highest-paid model in the world.
She currently lives in New York City's TriBeCa district and is said to be dating Ukrainian professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
