'I got this weird text the other day from Lily Allen of her topless. And I'm looking at it going 'why has she sent me that?' Ricky told Chris Moyles of Great Britain's Radio 1.
Moyle's curiosity was short lived because a minute later he received a follow up text from Allen saying, "Sorry - Wrong Ricky!'"
When Moyle quizzed Allen, who has bared her boobs in public earlier, she was forthright about the incident.
"That was really embarrassing," she told Moyles. "I was completely topless."
Lily's second studio album It's - Not Me, It's You - drops on February 9. She has already released the first single, The Fear, from the album.
