February 02, 2009, (Sawf News) - Dakota Fanning looked adorable in a midnight blue silk jumpsuit appearing on David Letterman show in New York City on Monday evening, February 2, to promote her new film Push.
Fanning's jumpsuit had a V neck, dolman sleeves and gathered elastic banding at the waist. She accessorized with grey and black ankle strap heels (we loved them on her Push premiere as well) and a long black bead necklace.
Her long blond straight hair draped her shoulders immaculately with a middle parting. She wore light make up.
Push releases in theaters on Friday, February 6.
Fanning, who turns 15-year-old on February 23, is fast growing up into a talented young lady with a great sense of style.
She is in contention for the role of Jane, a terrifying bloodsucker who can use her mind to torture others, in the Twilight sequel, New Moon.
She hasn't landed the role as yet, she told Parade in an interview:
"It's definitely being discussed but it's not set in stone," she said. "It would be really cool to be a part of Twilight if it works out. I'm a big fan. I saw the first movie but I haven't read all of the books yet, I'm working on it."
Fanning is looking forward to doing diverse roles as she emerges out of her child star mould.
"I would be a vampire, which could really prove that I can be sweet, little Dakota Fanning and then I can be something different on the screen," she says, adding, "I can no longer do Lucy in I Am Sam. You have to grow up and I am doing it through films."
