The Bollywood star, who has done over 100 films in a lead role in a career spanning over 25 years, phoned in on Ryan Seacrest's Morning Show on KIIS FM on Wednesday, February 18.
Referring to the "magical chemistry" evident between the two young stars, Seacrest asked Anil, "Dev and Freida, is there any action going on behind the scene there?"
Anil Kapoor, who has a reputation of talking straight, did not hesitate in replying, "As a matter of fact…when I meet them I feel there is something happening."
"Ah Ha!" went Ryan. "I knew it!"
"But she says I have to look after him and I have to baby sit him and that kind of stuff…[I think] this is the beginning of something exciting happening," Anil added.
Co-host Ellen K then pointed out that Freida was recently spotted sharing Oreo cheesecake and kissing Dev at a bakery in Los Angeles.
"They definitely make a great pair…both of them look very good together," said Anil
