March 04, 2009, (Sawf News) - Despite the world agreeing with his remarks dissing Chris Brown, for not showing enough remorse after assaulting girlfriend Rihanna, Usher has apologized for them.
"The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion," Usher said in a statement released today.
"I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved."
Usher dissed Brown in a video for Jermaine Dupri's Living the Life series, which shows him seeing a recent photo of Brown riding a jet ski vacationing in Miami.
"I'm a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo?" Usher is overheard saying. The "other photo" alluding to a police photo of a bruised and battered Rihanna after the assault, which was leaked to the press. "C'mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man's on Jet Skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?"
Brown is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday for assaulting Rihanna on February 8 but it is being reported that lack of evidence may prompt the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office to put off the arraignment.
