Way to Go Miss California!!

It is unfortunate when a young lady gets "punished" for coming out with a "biblically correct" answer. The founding fathers of our once great Republic, would be turning in their graves if they knew what was happening. Come to think about, they probably do.

Our form of government, our freedoms and liberties, were established for a "moral and virtuous" and "religious (read: Christian) people. It can work for no other.

History has proved time and again that a great nation cannot remain great when immorality is openly accepted, when good is called evil, and when evil is called good.

How can we embrace a lifestyle that has produced more aids than any other?

Yet, we are taught, not to hate those that live such a lifestyle, but to love them and pray for them.

I applaud Miss California for standing up for her beliefs, and see no other way for her to answer the politically charged question.

As for Mr. Hilton, his choice of lifestyle is between him and God, but his castigation of Miss California is a castigation of the very right of freedom of speech.

No one is peering into his bedroom or threatening to take him to jail, but to force the rest of America to re-define marriage, which was created, not by society, but by God Himself, is taking things too far.

Some Details on the Scripyural Support and Comments about Carrie's Detractors

In Fox News it was reported that:
Moakler couldn't help herself but tweet again on Tuesday night: "The MISS CALIFORNIA USA title is NOT supposed to be used to push your own agenda, that is NOT what pageants are about. the end again 4 me."

Even Miley Cyrus had something to say to Perez Hilton on the issue. "[I] am a christian and i love you - gay or not. BECAUSE you are no different that anyone else! we are all gods children! i am not saying this so would be nice on your site (though that would be nice jk;) but because the LORD has spoken "love cuz god loves" hey!!! what about me??? would i make a good miss usa?? ;)"

Heidi Montag, another committed Christian, also twittered her thoughts. "[L]esbians should have the same government rights that Spencer and I will when we get married. So, yes, this blonde Christian believes in gay marriage. God says not to judge and I would never try to judge ANYONE! Nor should our "free" country," "The Hills" starlet wrote.

I had a few thought provoking comments about the above contributions of Ms. Moakler, Ms. Cyrus and Ms. Montag.

** If Mr. Hilton would not have asked a ‘wide open’ agenda provoking question, an agenda provoking answer could not have been given, but notwithstanding Mr. Perez’s motives and the question, more importantly, it is essential for Christians to understand completely how God feels about Gay behavior. Those who believe or call themselves ‘Christians’ need to know what he has said through his prophets and apostles anciently as recorded in the Bible scriptures of the old and new testaments. Those who say don’t judge need to know that God has already judged that behavior on several occasions. There are several versions of the bible, I will quote from the older, less ‘diluted’ versions and explain briefly what is being said and encourage all to read, ponder and search diligently the scriptures for themselves frequently. Hopefully you will not wrest the scriptures or selectively agree with some of them and disagree or attempt to dismiss others of them for that is a slippery slope.

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah…Why ? We only have some of the reason/evidence, but read on…

Genesis 18:20/21, 19:1-24 excerpts (King James Version)

**These men wanted to ‘know’ them. In this context it (‘know them’) means they wanted to have sex with the men staying with Lot, Lot offered his virgin daughters instead but the gay men (of the city) refused. The angels blinded the gay men trying to force their way into Lot’s house and finally, after Lot left, Sodom was destroyed. Of all the ‘wicked behaviors that could have been mentioned in this account, homosexuality took the first and only place. Is God a homophobe ? No, He loves all of His children, even the Gays, but this defining ‘Gay’ sexual behavior/wickedness was widespread in Sodom and it had to stop. Would anyone dispute the judgment of God plainly displayed here ? I will not list the same accounts in the NIV and NAS versions but the meaning is the same. Check it out for yourself…

** Here we see Paul, the apostle talking of lesbians and gay guys who give up natural sexual relations with the opposite sex for homosexuality and that the behavior is condemned. The Mosaic law, although ‘done away’ in Christ plainly talks of condemnation for men or women who have sexual relations with the same sex.: See Leviticus 18:20 – 24 20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her. 21 And …, neither shalt thou cprofane the dname of thy God: I am the Lord. 22 aThou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. The law of Moses was done away but the principles i.e., concept or doctrine of the abomination of homosexuality is still taught by Paul and by others of the apostles;

2 Pet. 2: 6 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly….

** Here we read that having sex (lie with) the same sex is an abomination and that what God did to Sodom was an example to all of the results of their wickedness (ungodliness) thus the apostle of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Peter reaffirms that the behavior of the Sodomites is still wickedness, even after the 'greater law' of Christ is ushered in. Pray to God for understanding, acceptance of His will and the ability to repent if needed.

The scriptures above are hard to deny and dispute. The judgements of God against gay behavior are plain and deadly. It is spoken of as perversion and there are other cursings associated with it as described by Paul, the apostle of Jesus Christ. Christians need to understand that the scriptures are plain about the perversion of homosexuality. Allowing marriage, an institution supported and encouraged by God to occur between 2 of the same sex is solemn mockery before God when His will on the matter of homosexuality is considered as plainly written in the scriptures.

Miss NOT California USA is a friggen idiot, and should keep her backwards opinion to herself. She should've also just come out and said that she believes all women who commit adultery should be stoned, as that's BIBLICALLY CORRECT prejean twat.

This poor runner up keeps inventing "false facts". First she lamely answers her question saying we live in a land where we can choose same sex or "opposite" marriage. FALSE! Apparently she was unaware of Prop 8 in her own home state, and she kind of made up the term "opposite marriage". (She may have come across looking pretty dumb, but she did not deserve to be called names by you know who.)

Then, making the talk show circuit she claims her answer was biblically correct. FALSE again! she apparently has no idea what she is talking about since the bible mentions EIGHT different types of "biblical" marriage...
1. one man + multiple wives
2. childless widow + her brother-in-law
3. one man + a woman & her property--a slave
4. one man + wives + concubines
5. male soldier + female prisoner of war
6. male rapist + his victim(s)
7. male slave + female slave - to make more slaves
8. one man + one woman of same group (no inter faith or cross cultural parings allowed.

NOTE: None of these types of marriage are described as being better or worse than another.

The fact is that in the US, each state governs its own civil marriage laws regardless of anyone's religion.

I hate to be captian obvious here, but first off, every marriage you mention has 1 man with at least 1 woman. I don't think that leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Second off, you use no biblical verses to back your comments, more than likely becuase you either do not know them (or if they even exist) or because to read past that specific verse people would understand the truth, rather than take things out of context. People who hate and attack traditional Christian values and morality have been using this stunt for years.

Educate yourself, pick up a bible and truly read and understand it, then talk about it. Rudyard Kipling wrote in his poem IF: "If you can bear to hear the truth you have spoken twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools .... And--Which is more--you will be a Man, my son!" which pretty much sums up what you are attempting to do here.

I pray that you read this and decide to educate yourself, and then perhaps you will understand. At the very least, you will be better armed to defend your position.
