May 09, 2009, (Sawf News) - Rihanna’s label, Island Def Jam Music Group, has sent a missive to at least one website that published nude photos, purported to be those of Rihanna, demanding that they be removed, reports TMZ.
The letter does not acknowledge or deny the photos are of Rihanna, who is recognizable in two of them but is clothed; the nude photos do not show the face.
According to x17online.com, a celebrity photo site, attempts were made to shop the photos in November 2008, well before Rihanna’s split with boyfriend Chris Brown in February 2009.
There were no takers for the photos then because of their dubious origin. The photos seem to have found a buyer now because Rihanna has lately been in the news as she endeavors to make a professional comeback following an assault on her by Brown.
