May 19, 2009, (Sawf News) - Jessica Biel feels secure in love, but not in her career. With Justin Timberlake, she has found romance in real life, but ironically yearns for it on screen.
Biel’s focus is on her career, not her marriage.
"I have no idea if I want to get married," she tells Allure for its June issue. "I have a lot to do, career-wise."
Biel, 27, who recently moved from West Hollywood to a New York City apartment that she shares with Timberlake, says her relocation is not permanent.
"I haven't moved out to New York City full time," she says. "I'm here because I'm interested in the theater."
Biel, whose last film Powder Blue (2009) went straight to DVD, tends to be typecast in comedy and action roles, but yearns for romantic roles, like the ones that go to Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portman.
"I just want an opportunity," she says. "If you don't like the audition, then don't hire me! But if you don't want to even see me—that's hurtful.... I'm a very 360-degree person."
The I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry star describes herself as “very ambitious” but is uncomfortable with the strapping that come with fame.
"It's wonderful to do what I do, but everything that goes with it? It's bizarre," says the actress. "The invasion of privacy is very tough. I am followed all day, every day. Going to the dentist, the cleaners. I guess I could look like shit going to the dentist, but only if I didn't care what I saw in the papers."
