“Rumors are NOT true.. do not believe them,” Selena tweeted a couple of hours ago.
Last month, Selena was seen on a couple of dates with Taylor in Vancouver.
Taylor, 17, was in the Canadian city filming the Twilight sequel New Moon, while Selena, 16, is there filming the movie adaptation of children's book Ramona And Beezus.
Selena’s Wizards of Waverly Place co-star Jennifer Stone later clarified that Gomez and Taylor Lautner are just friends.
"Just because they're hanging out together doesn't mean they're dating, you know," Stone told E! Online last night at the Catch Boutique and Operation Smile and Hope event in L.A. "A lot of girls have guy friends."
However, earlier this month, Selena, 16, hinted she may be in love.
In a post on her MySpace blog on May 21, she said she believed it was unfair to dub anyone a hypocrite during her formative years. Giving examples of how she had changed over the past 3-4 years, she wrote:
“I remember when i was 12 telling my friends i would never ever wear dresses because i thought they were too prissy. Now I own more floral dresses than pants. Or how i hated mustard and gagged at the sight of it, now I will not touch a hotdog without it. I also said that I would never fall in love until i was much older to really understand the word.....”
There has been a fresh spate of rumors that Taylor has dumped Selena. He stood her up in Vancouver before returning to LA and has not been in touch since.
