June 04, 2009, (Sawf News) - Britney Spears, accompanied by her toddlers, Sean Preston and Jayden James, plans to have tea with the Queen. If reports that the Queen was upset by Michelle Obama’s backrub are correct, this could be interesting.
Britney, currently in London, opened the European leg of her Circus tour with a performance at the O2 Arena on Wednesday, June 3. She has another seven dates in the city.
According to the Mirror, Britney intends to swing by Buckingham Palace and, if the Royal Standard is hoisted, signaling the Queen is at home, pop in for tea.
“Britney’s schedule has been crazy from the minute she hit our shores. But no way does she want to leave without visiting the Queen,” says an insider.
“She has told her aides she is desperate for her sons to rub shoulders with royalty. And she does not want to be disappointed.”
At the end of her performance last night, Britney tweeted:
"Just wrapped my first show in London. I love all the remixed tracks and new costumes!"
Britney’s raunchy gig, watched by 20,000, was marred by excessive choreography and minimal interaction with the audience.
"What's up London? How are you guys feeling tonight?" she said 40 minutes into her circus ringmaster, lip synching act.
