"They are totally and definitely dating," a source tells People. "Her dad loves him. He's the best thing that happened to her."
Jason, who is also Britney’s brother Bryan's best friend, accompanied her on a getaway to Bahamas earlier in May, when she took a break after completing the North American leg of her Circus tour.
Britney and Jason were photographed together on the beach there, with Britney frolicking in a dark brown bikini with her sons Sean, three, and Jayden, two. She helped her toddlers build sand castles and splashed in the surf.
“Nothing better than a day at the beach with my family!” Britney, 27, tweeted that day.
Earlier, Britney had showed up at designer Christian Audigier's 50th birthday bash with Jason at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles on Friday May 23, 2008.
Britney "always had a crush" says the source.
