June 11, 2009, (Sawf News) - Dakota Fanning was trendily attired as she entered a studio for pre-production work on her upcoming biopic, The Runaways that also features her New Moon co-star Kristen Stewart.
Dakota paired her black tights with a purple jersey top under a grey elbow length sleeves jacket and a purple print scarf.
She accessorized with black and purple strappy platforms, purple Prada handbag and a watch in her left arm. Her casual and age appropriate styling comprised middle parted hair, no make up and green nails.
Dakota, 15, plays Cherie Currie, lead singer of the '70s all-girl hard rock band, in the film, with Kristen Stewart playing band mate Joan Jett.
Like Dakota now, Currie was 15-year-old when she made her debut with The Runaways as the lead singer. The hard-edged classic teen rock anthem, Cherry Bomb, was written for her at the audition. Currie later got caught up with drugs and a hard-partying lifestyle before settling down in marriage.
Scripted and directed by Floria Sigismondi, the film begins production in late spring.
Dakota and Kristen are reported to have bonded well on the set of Twilight sequel New Moon, in which Dakota plays Jane, an angelic looking but terrifying vampire.
The two were recently spotted partying at the Roxy on Sunset well past the usual curfew hours for a 15-year-old.
