Hemsworth starred in the recent Sci-Fi drama mystery Knowing starring Nicolas Cage. He has also featured in Australian TV series like The Elephant Princess (2008) and Neighbors (2008).
Disney’s adaption of the novel is helmed by Julie Anne Robinson who in the past has directed TV series like Grey's Anatomy (Five episodes) and Cutting It.
