"I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke," he tweeted early this morning from Toronto.
He followed up with more tweets.
"Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.
I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here. -- about 5 hours ago from Sidekick
The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them.
Thank u all from the bottom of my heart for ur concern. The police are investigating the assault now. I did the right thing by reporting it."
Following the accusation on Twitter, Will.I.Am himself took to the micro social networking site. He created an account for himself and tweeted.
"i just made a twitter account because it isnt cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies..."
Will then posted this video to deny that he hit Perez and clarify how the altercation started when Perez called him a faggot outside a Toronto club.
The Toronto police appears to agree with Will; they told TMZ that they are investigating Black Eyed Peas manager, Polo Molina, who has turned himself in, and not Will.
Meanwhile, Ryan Seacrest has invited both Perez and Will to call into his Morning Show on KIIS FM to clarify what happened.
