June 23, 2009, (Sawf News) - Joe Jonas made the reference to ex Taylor Swift in the track Much Better a lot more specific during the Jonas Brothers performance at Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Monday, June 22.
The lyrics for the song, a rejoinder to Swift's Forever and Always on her second studio album, Fearless that alluded to her relationship with Joe, go like this.
I get a rep for breakin' hearts
Now I'm done with superstars
And all the tears on her guitar
I'm not bitter
But now I see
Everything I'd ever need
Is the girl in front of me
She's much better
The reference to Taylor Swift is easy to discern.
During his performance yesterday, Joe chose to sing the line Now I'm done with superstars as Now I'm done with country stars, making the reference to Swift more specific.
Whether the dig goes well with either the Jonas Brothers' well cultivated squeaky clean image, or their fans, remains to be seen.
It could even leave girlfriend Camilla Belle wondering if the 19-year-old is truly over his ex.
The Jonas Brothers are on the North American leg of their World Tour in support of their new album Lines, Vines and Trying Times which dropped June 16.
