The 23-year-old London born actor rode a bicycle, then smoked and chatted with children on top of the Alice in Wonderland sculpture.
Directed by Allen Coulter, Remember Me additionally features Emilie de Ravin and Pierce Brosnan.
The film is about a young couple whose relationship is threatened by family tragedies on both sides.
Pattinson has been getting mobbed in New York City by fans, mostly young girls out to get a glimpse of the Twilight heartthrob.
After wrapping up filming for Remember Me, Pattinson will start filming for The Eclipse, the third offering in the Twilight saga.
Remember Me is due in theaters on February 12, 2010.
