July 03, 2009, (Sawf News) - After having declared that she wants her children with Michael Jackson back, and obtained a week's delay in their custodial hearing, Debbie Rowe said Thursday, July 2 that she hasn't reached a final decision yet.
"The truth is that Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings," her lawyer, Eric M. George, tells the Associated Press. "When Debbie does take a position in the public forum of the court, those positions will of course be conveyed to all interested persons."
Earlier in the day, a judge postponed by a week the guardianship hearing scheduled for Monday, July 6, for Michael's three children at the request of Debbi Rowe's lawyer.
Rowe, 50, broke her silence on Michael Jackson's death in a 90-minute phone conversation Thursday morning with NBCLA.
"I want my children," Rowe said.
Refuting recent reports that she was not the biological mother of Michael's eldest two children - Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11 – Rowe said she was prepared to undergo any testing - DNA or psychological!
Debbie Rowe, a dermatologist nurse, married Michael in 1996.
Debbie and Michael divorced in 1999 with Rowe relinquishing her custody rights to the children in favor of Jackson. However, in 2004, after Michael was slapped with child abuse charges, Debbie went to court to reclaim their custody.
Rowe and Jackson settled their dispute in 2005. At the time of the settlement, Debbie called Michael a good father and was offered to relinquish her parental rights.
