August 31, 2009, (Splash News) - Michael Jackson's father has said he is "mad" about his son's death and wants anyone involved to "pay".
Joe Jackson said he believes several people were involved in the King of Pop's passing. And he said he had no idea of the extent of his son's prescription drug use.
He said: "I just can't believe this happened to him. I'm mad. I didn't know all this was going on. I didn't know he was taking that type of medication. We want justice to be done. I'm still grieving over my son's loss."
In an interview with America's The Today Show, recorded on what would have been Michael's 51st birthday, Joe refused to say who he thought was a suspect in what has now been ruled a homicide.
"We want justice," Joe said. "All of them should pay that's involved."
