October 01, 2009, (Sawf News) - Paris Jackson appeared with her two brothers, Prince Michael I and Blanket on a shopping trip in Los Angeles with a nanny.

The children appeared relaxed as they sauntered in the sunshine. Blanket had on a happy face that has not been seen in public since his father Michael's sudden death in June. The appearance contrasted with a more uptight glimpse of them at a recent religious event.

The children are in the permanent guardianship of their grandmother Katherine Jackson, 79, a Jehovah's Witness.

An onlooker said: "The kids looked really happy. It was great to see them joking around and laughing like normal children.

Hopefully it's a sign they're starting to come to terms with their father's tragic death."

Their aunt, La Toya Jackson, recently told The View that the children were being allowed to decide their own religion just as she and her siblings had done.

    Religious Indoctrination
By RachelSmt on Thursday, October 01, 2009 (EST)
Michael Jacksons children are going to end up just as disturbed as their father was.
Moma Jackson (Katherine) is bringing them to the Kingdom Hall, so they can be indoctrinated. Jehovah’s Witness have the highest mental illness rate of any religion.

The future is not bright for MJ’s children if this is permitted

Jackson Kids Reared As Jehovah's Witnesses
By JJ2014 on Thursday, October 01, 2009 (EST)
The negative influence of the teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses on Michael and his family have been either downplayed or totally ignored for as long as the Jackson Family has received public attention. For those readers who really want to know what life is like to be reared in the WatchTower Cult, nothing beats real world scenarios, and of real world scenarios, nothing beats actual civil and criminal court cases.

The following website summarizes 900 court cases and lawsuits involving children of Jehovah's Witness Parents. The summaries demonstrate how JW Families rear their children and live life day-to-day. Also included are nearly 400 CRIMINAL cases -- most involving MURDERS:

DIVORCE, BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS, AND OTHER LEGAL ISSUES AFFECTING CHILDREN OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES

    http://jwdivorces.bravehost.com

Excerpts from LaToya Jackson's own 1991 biography, LATOTA: GROWING UP IN THE JACKSON FAMILY:

" ... neither I nor my siblings ever led a normal existence, not even as small children, years before celebrity transformed our lives. We were a not-so-typical but classic dysfunctional family. Yes, there was love and happiness, but it was poisoned by emotional and physical abuse, duplicity, and denial. ... The proscriptions of my Jehovah's Witness faith, my mother's seeming love and devotion, and my father's inability to express any emotion but anger kept us all entangled in a web of guilt disguised as love, brutality that was called 'discipline,' and blind obedience that felt like loyalty. ... We couldn't identify it, but we all sensed something was wrong in our house. Most of my siblings 'rebelled' by essentially running away from home to teenage marriages. ... I was Mother's best friend, and the quietest, shyest, most obedient child of all. I surprised everyone. I also broke the cardinal rule of a dysfunctional family. I stopped living the lie and playing the destructive game. -- pages 1-2.

"Thinking back over all those years, I realized that Mother was the guiding force behind the cruelty and abuse. This lady who pretended to be so gentle on the surface had in fact caused all the turmoil in our lives. We'd always thought that it was Joseph, but it was her, telling him what to do and how to do it. Like I'd said to her before, she was always throwing the rock and hiding her hand, convincing everyone -- outsiders and my own
siblings -- that she was sweet, kindhearted, and compassionate. Little did they know that the minute they were out of earshot she talked about them very, very viciously. After seeing it so many times, I finally had to face the fact that this was her true personality. -- page 257.

"Michael and I were very active in the Jehovah's Witness faith. ... Five days a week the two of us and Mother studied the Bible at home and attended the Kingdom Hall. ... Every morning Michael and I witnessed, knocking on doors around Los Angeles, spreading the word of Jehovah. ... As my brother's fame grew, he had to don convincing disguises, like a rubber fat suit he bought years later, -- pages 53-4.

"... because we were supposed to associate exclusively with other members, Michael and I made few friends at the private high school ... We did, however, become close with another [Jehovah's] Witness. Darles was my first and only friend outside the family, and I treasured the time we spent together. ... Each day at lunch the three of us studied the Bible together. She also joined us at the Kingdom Hall. During a meeting, Darles bravely challenged one of the elders. ... The elder's reply was typical. He cited the scripture, which supported his position but did not really address Darles's
point. So she wrote a letter ... This outraged the other elders. One day Rebbie's husband, Nathaniel [Brown], also an elder, cornered me. 'LaToya,' he said, 'you're never allowed to speak to Darles again. Ever. ... She's been disfellowshipped.' ... After that neither Michael nor I had anything to do with Darles. We missed her so much and for the first time began to privately reconsider some of the [WatchTower Society's] teachings. We felt that questions should be encouraged, not silenced through threats of disfellowship. -- pages 55-56.

"Mother ... frowned on our socializing with white kids, an attitude I found hypocritical coming from a Christian. -- page 34.

"... both my parents harbor racist attitudes, particularly against Jews, ... 'Wherever you go, whatever you do in this business, you find a Jew,' Mother used to complain bitterly all the time, 'I can't stand it.' ... She'd go on and on. 'They're always on top. Jews are so nosy. They like controlling you. I hate 'em all.' To their faces, however, my mother was as sweet as could be. ... Hearing talk like this turned my stomach, especially when it came from my mother's mouth. How could a religious woman be so hateful? ... The depth of Mother's loathing was expressed in one of her oft-repeated opinions: 'There's one mistake Hitler made in his life -- he didn't kill all those Jews. He left too many dxxx Jews on this earth, and they multiplied,' --pages 132-4.

"On the Victory tour, ... , [Michael] hired someone whose sole task was to locate a Kingdom Hall in each town so that Michael wouldn't miss a single meeting. ... Michael ... won those record-breaking eight honors at the 1984 Grammy Awards. The very next morning one elder issued him an ultimatum that my brother must choose between music and the [Jehovah's Witness] religion. ... Because Michael diligently studied the Bible, he could usually cite chapter and verse supporting his contention that entertaining people was not wrong. 'I'm still living according to the [WatchTower Society's] teachings,' he pointed out, as he'd done so many times before. I still go door to door wherever I am, even if I'm on tour. I can't help it if people hang up my poster on their wall or tear my picture out of a magazine. I don't ask them to idolize me. I only want them to enjoy my music.' ... many Jehovah's Witnesses used to congregate outside the Kingdom Hall hoping to catch a glimpse of Michael Jackson,
knowing full well this kind of adulation was forbidden. Michael did everything humanly possible to demonstrate his dedication to Jehovah. Once when an elder criticized, 'Your movements on stage suggest sex; don't do them anymore,' my brother complied without protest and promptly changed the routine. He also invited an elder on tour to see for himself that he lived in harmony with all the [WatchTower] faith's rules, canvassed door to door, and attended all the meetings. ... One day I walked into Janet's room to find Michael crying his eyes out. 'LaToya, ... I can't talk to you ever again. ... The elders had a big meeting, and they told me never to speak to you because you haven't been coming to the Kingdom Hall. ... they said that if I don't stop talking to you, they'll kick me out of the religion.' ... Michael decided to disobey the elders' edict and after that never attended any more meetings. ... he subsequently severed his ties to the organization through a formal letter. What made this painful episode even more agonizing was that for a long time I believed Michael might be one of the Remnant, the select 144,000. -- pages 196-200.

    Rest in Peace Michael
By MJfan1 on Thursday, October 01, 2009 (EST)
The ordinary JW folk are probably salt of the Earth types but the top of their pyramid is another story all together.

    Sorry!

But when a religion has to call itself 'The Truth' then they have definitely got something to hide.....a big fat Lie usually!

    Rest in Peace Michael.

Google *Jehovah Witness Watchtower * for a million pages that expose their cult-like harmful practices.
70-80% of all kids raised in this cult LEAVE because it is so abusive
I am the same age as MJ and grew up Jehovah Witness.
    Been there!

    TRUTH
By JWrTrue on Friday, October 02, 2009 (EST)
Jehovah's Witnesses bring the truths of Jehovah God door to door as Jesus did with the hope contained in Watchtower publications.

Jehovah has blessed us as we have the TRUTH and are the one TRUE religion through which all mankind shall be blessed. Read the Watchtower it's spiritual food, nuggets of truth from Jehovah.

Soon we will proclaim the warning message of Armageddon that's when Jehovah will shake the earth and apostates will weep and Nash their teeth.

Get A Life and Get Your Facts Straight
By OneGN on Friday, October 02, 2009 (EST)
First, what documentation do you have for your vicious and prejudicial claim? You have none, for certain. Fact is, JW's make up the LOWEST percentage of mental institution population of any religion. This fact can be documented by checking the statistics published by the Federal Government.

Second, Michael Jackson associated with JW's for a very short period of time. His father directed him AWAY from JW's early in his life and he "returned" for only a short time but disassociated himself when his conduct became so reproachable that he was going to be going to be excummunicated (disfellowshiped) if he did not take the step himself.

Finally, those who actually know JW's know that their family lives are VERY stable and balanced, in every way. The majority of those who criticize and blaspheme JW's fall into two groups: 1) Those who had once themselves associated with JWs but were (or are) themselves guilty of gross unscriptural conduct and are upset that they were caught and counseled; and 2) those who have no knowledge of the facts and simply want to bash JW's...for whatever warped reason (and, I do believe that indicates insanity, does it not.)

Get a life and, at least, get your facts straight before you open your mouth (or write your words) and remove any doubt about your sad mental state.

    Orwellian Watchtower cult
By RachelSmt on Friday, October 02, 2009 (EST)
According to US studies, "Jehovah's Witnesses are more likely to be admitted to psychiatric hospitals than the general population".

"According to an article in the British Journal of Psychiatry," he said, "they are three times more likely to be diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenia and four times more likely to be paranoid schizophrenics.

"As a writer in the American journal Free Inquiry puts it: 'Either the Jehovah's Witness sect tends to attract an excess of pre-psychotic individuals who may then break down, or else being a Jehovah's Witness is itself a stress that may precipitate psychosis. "'Possibly both of these factors operate together ...'"

    Windfall for Jehovah’s Witnesses
By BillyJean on Saturday, October 03, 2009 (EST)
Michael Jacksons Death – Windfall for Jehovah’s Witnesses

In Jacksons will it was stated that his mother, a staunch Jehovah’s Witness would be the executor of the $500 million plus estate. There are several areas that the public is not aware of that dictate how matters will be handled in the matter controlled by a Jehovah’s Witnesses.
    They are as follows:

Jehovah’s Witnesses are taught all their money belongs to Jehovah and should be used for the furtherance of the preaching work. The preaching work is defined as distributing over billion pieces of literature produced annually by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society aka the corporate arm of one of the wealthiest religions on earth.

With this doctrine the inheritances of hundreds of thousands of children have been given to the JW Corporation instead. The church is one of the last great robber barons when it comes to estates. They sweep in with trained personal and siphon off cash, jewelry or anything else of value, sell the estate for cash as quickly as possible and haul family memories off to the dump for disposal.

This scenario has played out thousands of times as non believing family members are stunned to discover that family pictures and memories have been destroyed as being of no value. Each year Jehovah’s Witnesses declare close to one billion dollars in income from just the New York Corporation in large part due to stealing the estates from Jehovahs’ Witnesses members who believe the church would be a better inheritor than a non believing family member.

Theology of Jehovah’s Witnesses dictate that anyone who does not distribute literature is worthy of death for not preaching the good news so as a result members believe that there is no importance to pleasing or assisting anyone not a member or prospective member of the church. Yet when money is involved the church somehow finds a conscience to be nice.

So with these basic elements in place this means the following for Jehovah’s Witnesses regarding the estate of Michael Jackson. Watchtower now owns everything…when mama Jackson dies all her holdings will be donated to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society who will in turn have a fire sale for quick cash to everything created and owned by Michael Jackson. The funeral will be directed by Jehovahs’ Witnesses in which little will be stated about Michaels life but instead you will be taught the death doctrine of JWs with an opportunity to join so you will not be killed by God as a worthless non literature distributor. Jehovah’s Witnesses pride themselves in a non grief ceremony as they believe that things are just temporary with death as the end of the world is coming at any moment.

In the end there is the loss of a great entertainer and yet a tormented man. Tormented by the belief system of Jehovah’s Witnesses that made Michael Jackson believe he was never good enough and had the end of the world coming at any moment to take his life for being a non literature distributor. Perhaps that is why he had such a hard time relating to people in general and at the same time his talent could not prevent his interaction on such a public level.

The question arises was Michael Jackson abused? The answer is absolutely yes, he manifested every symptom in his life. The belief system of Jehovah’s Witnesses routinely covers up abuse and of this Michael was a victim. The weirdness of his life and actions are easily explained by understanding the “us against them” belief system of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was never at peace and always felt like a failure to his mom for not emulating and living her beliefs. The result was a sad person trying to find peace but deep down feeling he was never good enough where it really counted.

In the end the real winner might be Jehovah’s Witnesses they will get the money and ultimately own the Jackson estate. Much like the television preacher that tells his audience to send their last $100 and God to bring it back to them ten fold Jehovah’s Witnesses operate in a similar manner enslaving members to a concept that giving them all their money will somehow make God happy.

Snake oil sales men come and go but as PT Barnum put it, “There is a sucker born every minute.” Michael Jackson and his mom are the suckers and Jehovah’s Witnesses will get the windfall. As a result when you hear the knock on your door Saturday morning… you can chuckle to yourself on how “Thriller” helped finance the smiling person and the Watchtower publications he/she is trying to leave with you at that moment.

    What a thrill…

By Yuni on Saturday, October 03, 2009 (EST)
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that their Watchtower (Jehovah's) organization is the only true Christian faith.

They believe that the truths of scripture were lost through a great apostasy centuries ago until God used JW founder Charles Russell to restore the Gospel.

Jehovah Witness share some doctrinal beliefs with Christianity, but many of their beliefs either completely contradict,or at least pervert Biblical truths.

    Some of these are:
Only 144,000 go to heaven, two classes of Christians,Michael Archangel is Jesus, works based salvation by door to door 'placement' of Watchtower literature, ban on whole blood transfusions but permitted to use components as fractions..

Theologically,Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult of Christianity. The oppressive organization does not represent historical, Biblical Christianity.
Sociologically, it is a destructive sect whose false teachings frequently result in spiritual and psychological abuse,as well as needless deaths.

Jehovah's Witnesses are unpopular for many reasons. They are like carnival hucksters preaching the need to become a Jehovah's Witness or die at Armageddon.

They say they promote good family life? Only until you disagree with the leadership in Brooklyn on the slightest of points, and then they completely divide and destroy the family.

"Watch out for the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing but inside are ravenous wolves"--Mt 7:15

JW are abusive? wth are you talking about?
By Ravenmyst on Saturday, October 03, 2009 (EST)
first of all I dont get where you jerks have to preach what you are reading on the net which is a bunch of bologna! Give me a break! How about you visit one of these Kingdom Halls and then tell me how you feel after an hour of being at one of their meetings..they are downright the most humble human beings on earth. I was raised JW and I got out of it for my own reason, I honestly didnt like being out of the holiday factors, I like the idea of giving gifts and such on holidays with the rest of the worldy people...but that doesnt mean they dont do the same thing.. just not on those particular days. Ppl talk their $h!t because they have NO CLUE what its all about and they have no clue how JW raise their children. Abuse? oh give me a frickin bone! I was raised and I wasnt abused by no strict mother, she was strict but she didnt want me hanging around bad kids, bad influences, it makes sense dont it? She didnt hit me, she didnt keep me in the house, she didnt teach me that I cant have wire hangers for crying out loud! Second for you dumb@ss folks out there knowing the Jackson family because of the religion...Katherine is the only one who went to the meetings NOT JOE JACKSON..he was not part of the religion...all this stuff in the media doesnt tell the truth. Its okay cause Jehovah is a God who is slow to Anger, hes got something for those who talk bad about him and his followers...=p

    LOTS of MENTAL ILLNESS
By Yuni on Sunday, October 04, 2009 (EST)
    HEADS UP!

The Watchtower religion in their very own literature will ADMIT to Jehovah's Witnesses members *high stress levels* in other words manifestation of member mental illness: PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety etc....

They ADMIT to this when propaganda serves them to advertise the *hardships" and *persecution* associated with being in the *one true religion* and having to carry on with bearing the torture stake (cross) of Jesus.

ACTUALLY it's because the JW religion is a man made oppressive cult that drives people mad.

    Instilling phobia
By LisaDay on Sunday, October 04, 2009 (EST)
The problem with 'being raised Jehovah's Witness' is that they indoctrinate that they are the ONE and only true religion,

Sure,of course most all religions say this but the Watchtower religion takes it to an extreme level with cult-like mind control and instilling phobias.

If you don't do as they say and go by their many rules you feel that you are condemned.

The JW defenders will deny all this but they are just shills for it.
