November 28, 2009, (Splash News) - Miley Cyrus made a cheerleading squad's dreams come true when she invited them backstage at one of her concerts.
The Hannah Montana star reduced the Spartan Sparkles to tears when she arrived unannounced to teach them some dance moves.
The youngsters – who were all born with learning difficulties – were picked for the treat as part of Oprah Winfrey and People magazine's Headline-Making Heroes program.
Cyrus, 17, left the Spartan Sparkles open-mouthed when she recorded a video message for them, which was played at one of their training sessions.
The squad, from Bettendorf in Iowa, screamed with delight when the pop star revealed she was making them VIP guests for her concert in Indianapolis.
Backstage, Cyrus taught them some of her dance routines and invited them to perform on stage with her during the show.
The cheerleaders, who are aged between eight and 15 years old, have conditions ranging from autism to Down's Syndrome.
