November 28, 2009, (Sawf News) - Tiger Woods' alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, concedes she has met the golfer twice, but says she has not had contact with him since and never slept with him.
Speaking to TMZ, Uchitel claimed that the National Enquirer paid $25,000 to the sources it quoted in its story that alleged Woods was having an affair with her. She called the entire story "bullh**t."
Immediately following the crash on Friday, Uchitel had told Us magazine that she wished the golfer well, but "this has nothing to do with me. I don't understand why anyone would think this is anything to do with me."
Woods' infidelity report is believed to have sparked Wood's altercation with his wife, Elin Nordegren, which ended with Woods running his Cadillac Escalade into a fire hydrant and then a tree early morning on Friday, November 27.
Uchitel has engaged pitbull celebrity lawyer, Gloria Allred, to represent her and will possibly sue the National Enquirer.
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Nordegren has changed her initial statement to the police, in which she claimed that she heard Wood's car crash, went outside and found him trapped inside, returned to her house to fetch a golf club, which she then used to smash the rear window of the SUV to help her husband out.
TMZ sources are, however, not willing to reveal what Nordegren has said in her new statement.
Following the accident, Woods recounted an entirely different sequence of events while speaking to a friend. He said Nordegren confronted him with reports of his infidelity which led to an argument during the course of which Nordegren attacked him, scratching his face. He decided to leave. As he drove away in his Escalade, his Swedish model wife came after him with a golf club and repeatedly struck the SUV with it.
In another development, Woods refused to be interviewed by Florida Highway Patrol officers for the second time on Saturday. The officers arrived at his house in Windermere for a scheduled interview but his agent told them that Woods and his wife were not available for questioning.
The interview has now been scheduled for Sunday.
