Calling the report "100 percent absolutely false," a source close to the couple tells People magazine. "There was no proposal and they were never engaged."
Jason's return to LA ahead of Britney - after spending time with her and her toddlers, Preston and Jayden, during her Circus tour in Australia – was dictated purely by logistics.
"Jason spent more time in Australia than originally planned," says the source. "They are very happy."
