ROME (AFP) - The site, www.veniceconnected.it, currently allows visitors to reserve museum passes, excursions, airport shuttles and parking passes -- with the opportunity to book a civil marriage the next service to come on-stream.

Nearly 20 million tourists, 80 percent of whom were foreigners, visited Venice in 2008, according to city authorities.
