April 27, 2009, (Sawf News) - The key to look sexy in a swim suit is to conceal and reveal. There is a fine line in being sexy and cheap!

Walking down the beach with a nice bikini with a large boyfriend shirt on is sexy in a classy way and walking down in thongs and high heels is cheap.

Zanna Roberts of Marie Claire magazine gives expert tips in the video below.

Here are some swimsuit trends you can look out for this summer:

Sporty:

Sporty can be sexy. Key thing in a sporty look is that it is functional as well.

Metallics:

This year metallics were huge on the runway. Flesh colors in Subtle metallic don't wash out your skin. Victoria's Secret is the right place to buy it.

Retro look:

Barely there bikinis aren’t trendy this summer. Instead, high waisted bikinis, one piece swim suits and skirted styles are big this season.

Designers like Michael Kors, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Dolce & Gabbana have brought out the retro pin-up look back. The key is to keep the accessories in theme as well and go into the character.

Psychedelic and Bohemian look:

Psychedelic is going to be big trend this season. It’s going back to the 80’s neon bright colors. Just be careful with the color and shape you choose. One piece can be sexy.

Cut outs:

Cut-out is for a high glam fashionistas, not so much to go for a swim in as to dress to the sea. Keep the accessories minimum. Cutout is perfect for those who have less than perfect midriff. Just be prepared for an odd shaped tan patch you will end up with.
